A 70-year-old man has never been married

There once was a man who had lived a full and independent life. At 70 years old, he had never been married. Some said he was too picky, others thought he just enjoyed his freedom too much. He had plenty of friends, a comfortable home, and no regrets. But love? That had always eluded him—until one extraordinary day.

While attending a community art show, he met a stunning young woman. She was just 17, full of life and curiosity, with a smile that could light up a room. Despite the vast age difference, something sparked between them. Their conversations flowed effortlessly, and within days they found themselves inseparable. Against all odds—and raising more than a few eyebrows—they fell in love.

A whirlwind romance followed, and soon after, they got married. To celebrate, the newlyweds flew down to Florida for their honeymoon—a warm and sunny escape filled with sandy beaches, late-night walks, and the promise of new beginnings.

When they returned home, one of the man's old friends couldn’t wait to hear how the trip had gone. Over lunch, he leaned in with a teasing grin and asked, “So? How was the honeymoon, you old dog?”

The man’s eyes twinkled as he smiled. “Oh, it was beautiful,” he said dreamily. “The sun was always shining, the ocean was warm, the breeze was perfect... and we made love almost every night.”

His friend’s eyes widened. “Wait—almost every night?” he said, incredulous. “At your age? How on earth did you manage that?”

The man paused, then grinned mischievously.

“Well,” he said, chuckling, “we almost made love on Monday… we almost made love on Tuesday… we almost made love Wednesday too…”
