24-year-old dad, whose body is completely covered with more than 200 tattoos, removed them for the sake of his baby daughter, Better sit down before seeing him today

We all have moments in our past that we wish we could change—decisions we regret and words we wish we could take back. Yet few can claim a history of regrets as public and extensive as Ethan “ModBoy” Bramble, an Australian body modification enthusiast who has transformed his appearance with over 200 tattoos. In our contemporary culture, expressing oneself through ink has evolved into a form of self-expression, with intricate and quirky designs celebrated by many. However, Ethan’s journey has ventured far beyond the typical boundaries of body art, leading him to a profound realization about his choices.

At the tender age of 11, Ethan began his journey of self-modification by stretching his ears, setting the stage for a series of radical transformations. Over the years, he has engaged in a variety of procedures, from splitting his tongue to even removing his belly button. But it is his tattoos that command the most attention, covering his body from head to toe. Reports indicate that Ethan has spent approximately 60,000 AUD (roughly 39,000 USD) to achieve his distinct appearance. Despite the fascination his body art evokes, he has come to regret certain choices made in his earlier years.

In a candid interview on LadBibleTV’s No Filter series, Ethan opened up about his complex feelings regarding his body modifications. “I guess you could say I regret some tattoos,” he admitted, emphasizing that his remorse goes beyond mere aesthetics. He feels a sense of concern about how others perceive him, especially in everyday situations, such as taking his young daughter to school. “The face is a big thing that can lead to a lot of problems for yourself, which I probably wouldn’t want my daughter to have to deal with until she was older,” he reflected. “I wish that I had not gone as hectic as I did on my face.”

This realization has motivated Ethan to embark on a challenging journey of transformation. He has begun a painful yet determined process of laser tattoo removal, hoping to gradually erase the ink that once felt like a defining feature. “I’ve been getting laser treatments for pretty much 12 months now,” he explained. “We do it in sections, and I’ve probably gone over the full area six or seven times. I started getting it done because of the anxiety I was experiencing. A lot of that anxiety came from having a face full of tattoos.” Despite the discomfort of the procedure, he remains hopeful and excited about the transformation ahead. “I’m happy with the way that I look, but I’m also looking forward to the next two years when my face tattoos are going to become less and less. I’m just clearing the canvas.”

Ethan’s story is inspiring, showcasing a level of courage and self-awareness that many aspire to. His journey transcends mere physical alteration; it’s about reclaiming his identity and alleviating the burdens of judgment he has carried for so long. As he works to reshape his appearance, he also seeks to redefine his sense of self. I, for one, am eager to witness how he evolves once his face is finally cleared of tattoos. His journey serves as a powerful reminder that while our past choices shape who we are, we always possess the ability to redefine our future. What are your thoughts on Ethan’s transformation?
